The Story Behind the Art

Orange Thing comes from my Frank’s Table collection—a series inspired by long dinners, shared stories, and the beauty of simple, delicious things. This particular piece captures the playful spirit of citrus, something that shows up again and again in my work and feels especially fitting for the holidays. Oranges have always symbolized generosity, celebration, and warmth, which is why they’re at the heart of so many of my seasonal pieces this year. These notecards carry that same energy—bright, modern, and a little unexpected. They’re meant to feel like a burst of color on a winter day, a cheerful nod to citrus traditions, and a sweet way to make any note or gift feel personal and artful.
