Blue Skies for Days: A Celebration of Beauty
As someone deeply attuned to the weather's shifting moods, I’ve always found solace and inspiration in the beauty of a bright, sunny day. Living at our horse farm makes this even more poignant. ”Blue Skies for Days" is a series of paintings born from my love of moments when the sky stretches endlessly. The series offers a variety of of paintings in oil, mixed media, acrylic and gouache. They are offered in paper and canvas and each piece in the series—whether oil on canvas or paper, acrylic on paper or canvas, or gouache on paper—is a tribute to the simple, uplifting power of nature’s beauty. These paintings are my way of capturing and sharing the lightness of spirit that comes with a bright, sunny day.
For me, blue skies represent more than just good weather; they symbolize hope, clarity, and the promise of brighter days ahead. Even when the rain falls or the clouds gather, these works serve as a reminder that happiness can be brought indoors, filling our spaces with the joy and serenity of a perfect day.
